Community Rallies for Lottery Dogs Charity with Heartwarming Jumble Sale

In the spirit of community and compassion, some of the people we support in Kingsbridge came together to host a jumble sale in support of the Lottery Dogs Charity, an organisation dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dogs in need. The event, took place on 23 May 2024 at New Key’s office in Kingsbridge and, offered not only a treasure trove of pre-loved items but also a chance to make a significant difference in the lives of our four-legged friends.

A Cause Worth Celebrating

Lottery Dogs Charity has long been a pillar in our community, working tirelessly to provide care, medical attention, and loving homes to dogs who have faced neglect, abandonment, or abuse. The charity’s mission resonates deeply with animal lovers and compassionate citizens, and the jumble sale was an excellent opportunity to support their invaluable work.

The jumble sale featured a wide array of items, from clothing and accessories to household goods, books, toys, and more. Generous donations from local residents and New Key staff ensured that there was something for everyone.

Every item sold and every penny raised at the jumble sale directly supports the rescue and rehabilitation efforts of Lottery Dogs Charity. Funds raised will help cover veterinary care, food, shelter, and training for dogs awaiting their forever homes. By participating in the jumble sale, everyone played a crucial role in giving these dogs a second chance at a happy life.
