I need female Support Workers who are positive, patient and consistent.
Full Job Description
You need to be outgoing with a good sense of humour but also respectful when I need some “quiet time”. It is important that you like horses, cats, bike riding and swimming as I need encouragement to keep active. I enjoy the outdoors and love to challenge myself to try new activities.
I need physical exercise to maintain my physical and emotional well-being as I have a rare genetic disease which affects me daily, so my team support me throughout the day and night in my home in Kingsbridge.
My family are very important to me and I need you to build a positive relationship with them as they are a big part of my life.
It is important to help me to stay safe and well; with my feelings and relationships; manage the practicalities of daily living – cleaning my home, shopping, budgeting, cooking; be connected in my community; look after myself – to understand and help me manage my health conditions.
I have my own car so it is essential that you have a full clean automatic driving licence and can sing along to the music in my car! Job Description
The post complies with section 7 (2) (b) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 & Schedule 9 Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010
